Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rafael de Godoi made the kick off which started today's match. In the 11th minute, Joélson de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mário Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dênis de Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Dênis de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dênis de Castro came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube do Remo MZ's Victor de Sena. But to his dismay, Victor de Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tiaguinho Netto made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Rafael de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Clube do Remo MZ's Joélson de Carvalho got a free kick in the 26th minute. Three Lions FC's Dênis de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor de Sena in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael de Godoi got free with Tiaguinho Netto in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 31 minutes, Doriva Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube do Remo MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doriva Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dênis de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Dênis de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Jeferson Pombal could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Tiaguinho Netto however easily saved by the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor de Sena made a kick off. Dênis de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva Pinho in the 56th minute of the match. Dênis de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor de Sena in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Doriva Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Three Lions FC's Dênis de Castro got control of the ball when Doriva Pinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joélson de Carvalho took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dênis de Castro. Dênis de Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Three Lions FC's Mathias Gonçalves got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva Pinho in the 74th minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Dênis de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dênis de Castro was a little too slow when Doriva Pinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-3. Doriva Pinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dênis de Castro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doriva Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head. 97 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor de Sena came free, but Dênis de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
