When Waldemar Sabóia came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Mukifus FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldemar Sabóia couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Augusto Lendaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caco Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After having played for 34 minutes, João Paulo Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mukifus FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Paulo Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Waldemar Sabóia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dagoberto Nogueira, 3-0. The S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dagoberto Nogueira should have stopped the shot. Wesley Couto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Caco Rocha firmly grabbed it by the left post. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro Augusto Saraiva in the 94th minute. The corner led S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Thomás Arantes to fire away a dangerous shot which Caco Rocha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mukifus FSCMZ fully deserved thier win.
