After a rather tough play, Mukifus FSCMZ's Antônio Carlos Tróia got a free kick in the 7th minute. Baltazar Lendaa got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zé Lendaa. A collision led to Mukifus FSCMZ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Zé Lendaa hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Liu Feng Guang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Caco Rocha, 1-0. After 19 played minutes GRÊMIO got a freekick which was hit by Lino da Costa. With an all-out effort, GRÊMIO's Caco Rocha threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elpidio Gai, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of GRÊMIO booed when Mukifus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mukifus FSCMZ's Caco Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Mukifus FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Tyson Touro managed to get in a good position for a shot. GRÊMIO's supporters rose to their feet, but Tyson Touro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caco Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th match minute, Mukifus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Lendaa to maneuver through the defense. Arí Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lino da Costa hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Luizão Brasil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Miguel. GRÊMIO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Arí Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GRÊMIO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arí Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 played minutes GRÊMIO got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Gai. Tyson Touro kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Caco Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Gaeta in the 42nd minute of play. GRÊMIO's Carlos Miguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Lendaa in the 43rd minute of play. Carlos Miguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Sabóia in the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Liu Feng Guang made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Diamantino Lendaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 played minutes GRÊMIO got a freekick which was hit by Sidónio Pereira. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Waldemar Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mukifus FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Sabóia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Miguel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Miguel was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Zé Lendaa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zé Lendaa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Feng Guang in the 70th minute of play forced Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Caco Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Wanderson dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Ettore Gaeta made a precise shot to the right of Caco Rocha. Mukifus FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Mukifus FSCMZ's Caco Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Gai in the 83rd minute of play. Caco Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Terra in the 86th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Waldemar Sabóia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Miguel. The goal made the score 2-3. Chants of Mukifus FSCMZ echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as GRÊMIO had held the ball for most of the match.
