The Vista Alegre FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedrão Sarmento should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Paulo Renato Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrão Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Leite in the 17th minute of the match. Wiliam Velloso's late challenge caught a Nova Venécia-ES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wiliam Velloso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nova Venécia-ES booed when Vista Alegre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrão Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Leite in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
