In the 13th minute, Edson Mendes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olivedos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 20 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Edson Mendes. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Antônio Carlos Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olivedos's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Carlos Valadares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antônio Carlos Valadares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Joel Aguiar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Dário Viana made a precise shot to the right of Joel Aguiar. FLA MQ BRASIL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 32 played minutes FLA MQ BRASIL got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Perez. Olivedos's Elder Mattos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FLA MQ BRASIL. When Antônio Carlos Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Olivedos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Carlos Valadares couldn't finish the play. After 37 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Cavalcante. In the 40th minute, Betinho Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deivid Cavalcante in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armel Zettiņš stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fabiano Freire's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antônio Carlos Valadares made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Cavalcante in the 54th minute of play forced FLA MQ BRASIL's goalkeeper Joel Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, FLA MQ BRASIL's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Cavalcante came free, but Joel Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FLA MQ BRASIL's Alexsandro Koehler got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Olivedos booed when FLA MQ BRASIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandinho Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FLA MQ BRASIL's zone, Antônio Carlos Valadares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Aguiar came out of the goal and Antônio Carlos Valadares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
