Despite this Sérgio de Azevedo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Vides in the 10th minute of play. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Cícero da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Vides in the 14th minute of play. Cícero da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sérgio de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cícero da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sérgio de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cafu de Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cafu de Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cafu de Senna hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Arí Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes in the game, Facundo Guerrero fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sérgio de Azevedo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Gugu de Moraes got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in BMB IMOVEIS SC's zone, Arí Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio de Azevedo came out of the goal and Arí Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ardwyad Vulcan to maneuver through the defense. Arí Machado struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sérgio de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA. 43 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Vides came free, but Melquiades Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cícero da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Arí Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Arí Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, BMB IMOVEIS SC's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Guerrero came free, but Sérgio de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
