Deen Castronovo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melquiades Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deen Castronovo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ogro F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Dantas in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Arí Machado notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ogro F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Penha.
