With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clayton Frangø prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, João Augusto Quintal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Maurinho Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Maurinho Valadares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clayton Frangø was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Maurinho Valadares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clayton Frangø stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurinho Valadares's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Norberto Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MUSHIBA FC the free kick. Norberto Paiva hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Dráuzio Aparecido made the kick off in the second half. Claudinho Tande might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clayton Frangø. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinho Tande ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 52nd minute of the game Manuel Simões made a throw-in which João Reis played forward. In the 54th play minute Claudinho Tande came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Clayton Frangø. 0-1. The throw-in from Manuel Simões in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MUSHIBA FC's Toninho Matos. Claudinho Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Clayton Frangø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Maurinho Valadares got a free kick in the 64th minute. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Dráuzio Aparecido got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Reis came free, but João Augusto Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MUSHIBA FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
