After a rather tough play, Locomotiva grena's Arí Quirino got a free kick in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Hoffmann could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Vito Paulista however easily saved by the left post. Pendotiba's Cristian Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Evaristo Gerber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vito Paulista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Hoffmann's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Locomotiva grena's Fabiano Albuquerque got a free kick in the 26th minute. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Cristian Hoffmann sped through Locomotiva grena's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vito Paulista. Cristian Hoffmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Paulista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Cristian Hoffmann spun around in front of the goal 37 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Locomotiva grena's goal. When Gökçen Yerhum fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pendotiba's protests and gave Gökçen Yerhum a yellow card for diving instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute Norberto Marques suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 52 minutes, Jano Mattos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Locomotiva grena and the Pendotiba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pendotiba made a substitution. Jeferson Vale replaced Norberto Marques. After 53 played minutes Locomotiva grena got a freekick which was hit by Jano Mattos. Pendotiba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Osvaldo Soares scored to the left of an out of position Evaristo de Andrade, making the score, 1-1. In the 59th match minute, Pendotiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Vale to maneuver through the defense. Locomotiva grena's Vito Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Hoffmann in the 63rd minute of play. Evaristo Gerber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evaristo de Andrade having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Osvaldo Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locomotiva grena's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Hoffmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Paulista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. If Osvaldo Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fabiano Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 76th minute, Fabiano Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Cristian Hoffmann sped through Locomotiva grena's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vito Paulista. After 85 minutes of play, Locomotiva grena's Osvaldo Soares made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo de Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Paulo Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vito Paulista was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Pendotiba's Evaristo de Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Pendotiba from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute of the match Locomotiva grena got a corner. Pendotiba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Percival Maciel ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Locomotiva grena's corner Percival Maciel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Evaristo de Andrade quite easily take care of the ball. Pendotiba were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Locomotiva grena for a fine match.
