A collision led to TRAKINAS FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Augusto de Mendonça hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Osvaldo Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tostão do Nascimento took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geraldo Almeida. Geraldo Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 29 minutes into the game, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's 彭俊骋 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geraldo Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. TRAKINAS FC's Geraldo Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Bueno in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Tostão do Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geraldo Almeida. TRAKINAS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tostão do Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waldir Peixoto was the one to do the kick off.
