The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geraldo Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Hoffmann in the 4th minute. Cristian Hoffmann let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 6th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Daniel Weather hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Renatinho Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Evaristo de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Hoffmann in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geraldo Almeida, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Geraldo Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute of the match Pendotiba got a corner. TRAKINAS FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ricardinho Trigo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Pendotiba's Norberto Marques getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Geraldo Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Renatinho Peres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Evaristo de Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Pendotiba's Naldo Hermes got a free kick in the 28th minute. Pendotiba's Ricardinho Trigo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Geraldo Almeida but with some difficulty. TRAKINAS FC's Geraldo Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Hoffmann in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Hoffmann in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geraldo Almeida was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Hoffmann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, TRAKINAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Hoffmann came free, but Geraldo Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Neves during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulo Neves hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, TRAKINAS FC's Wellington de Queirós got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th match minute, Pendotiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Weather to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Peres in the 55th minute of play forced Pendotiba's goalkeeper Evaristo de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geraldo Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldir Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pendotiba's zone, Waldir Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo de Andrade came out of the goal and Waldir Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo de Andrade made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Renatinho Peres sent off a good shot on target. Norberto Marques hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute of the match Válter Terra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evaristo de Andrade skillfully saved the ball. In the 74th minute, Cristian Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Pendotiba's Evaristo de Andrade got control of the ball when Renatinho Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Renatinho Peres made a precise shot to the right of Evaristo de Andrade. Pendotiba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The supporters of Pendotiba booed when TRAKINAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Pendotiba's Cristian Hoffmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geraldo Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Hoffmann in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geraldo Almeida saved TRAKINAS FC from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the TRAKINAS FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pendotiba.
