He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Talento Futebol clube reached it. José Maria Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Mazza in the 10th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Martin Lucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Edgard de Amorim tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Maria Souza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 34 played minutes Talento Futebol clube got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Reis. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Lucero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Maria Souza. That made the score 4-0 in the 42 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlinhos Velasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlinhos Velasco got free with Thomás Costa in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
