The supporters of Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- booed when Agua Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jânio Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Téo Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agua Santa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdemar Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Pinho in the 17th minute of the match. Geovânio Toscano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomé Mota having to make a save. Alan Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Sílvio Ramalho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomé Mota. The goal made the score 1-0. With 31 minutes on the clock, Betinho Dantas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-! Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-:s Valdemar Quadros showed great skill when he stopped Téo Tróia:s penalty. Manfredo Cabral's late challenge caught a Agua Santa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfredo Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Cabral. 39 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Nico Quintal came free, but Valdemar Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Cipriano Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agua Santa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Pinho to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Laércio Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Valdemar Quadros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agua Santa's Olavo Vianna was substituted for Cléberson do Valle. Agua Santa's Pedro Luís Arantes was substituted for Murilo Fernandes. Haroldo Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Ramalho in the 72nd minute of the match. Téo Tróia hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Valdemar Quadros made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Nico Quintal sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Haroldo Recife hit a great ball. Laércio Neves came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valdemar Quadros could save by the left post. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio Toscano in the 95th minute of play. The Agua Santa players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
