Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Davi Diniz got the match started through his kick off. Jânio Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Nestor Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Carioca made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Gerson de Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. After 5 minutes, Gilvan Prata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrenta SC and the Olímpico FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ursino Silvestre in the 11th minute of play forced Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Serafim Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Ursino Silvestre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrenta SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Serafim Paes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fábio Lima went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute, Luiz Fábio Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrenta SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 25th minute, Ursino Silvestre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafim Paes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Joel Sabóia got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Luiz Fábio Lima notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Olímpico FC's Serafim Paes. Serafim Paes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Damião came free, but Serafim Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fábio Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafim Paes was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Olímpico FC's Serafim Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Lima in the 37th minute of play. When Luiz Fábio Lima got free in front of the goal in the 37th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Serafim Paes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Mário Damião notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Olímpico FC's Serafim Paes. Serafim Paes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ursino Silvestre came free, but Serafim Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Cido Miranda in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Olímpico FC's Renato Almeida. The corner ended in Silvério Terra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barrenta SC's Nestor Carioca did a great save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Fábio Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Olímpico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerson de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fábio Lima in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafim Paes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serafim Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Joel Sabóia notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Olímpico FC's Serafim Paes. Serafim Paes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Luiz Fábio Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 73 minutes, Joel Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrenta SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fábio Lima in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafim Paes saved Olímpico FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Barrenta SC's Mário Damião slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serafim Paes. That made the score 0-10 after 76 minutes of play. Ursino Silvestre took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafim Paes. Serafim Paes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. With a little luck, Olímpico FC's Serafim Paes got control of the ball when Ursino Silvestre tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute Mário Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, Barrenta SC's Mário Damião made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafim Paes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute Luiz Fábio Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute, Barrenta SC's Luiz Fábio Lima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Serafim Paes. Serafim Paes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. Barrenta SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
