After some careless play in the Academia Militar MZ defense, Brian Ocampo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino Magalhães. The Academia Militar MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino Magalhães should have stopped the shot. Diamantino Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Medero Gadea, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Edin Džeko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diamantino Magalhães came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by GeRaÇãO-83's Brian Ocampo. But to his dismay, Brian Ocampo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Grzegorz Siekierski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Diamantino Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Ocampo in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Ocampo in the 36th minute of play forced Academia Militar MZ's goalkeeper Diamantino Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlinhos Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Per-Oskar Ekgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After 44 played minutes Academia Militar MZ got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Cabral. Diamantino Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Ekgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Ruperto Enol was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edin Džeko to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Custódio came free, but Grzegorz Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Ocampo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Diamantino Magalhães when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Diamantino Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr in the 62nd minute of the match. Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Magalhães having to interfere. Brian Ocampo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Diamantino Magalhães made a huge save. Diamantino Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Bernd Goldsche came free, but Grzegorz Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Edin Džeko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diamantino Magalhães. Academia Militar MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edin Džeko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Diamantino Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr in the 87th minute of play. Brian Ocampo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Diamantino Magalhães made a huge save. Paulinho Ralf kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over GeRaÇãO-83 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Academia Militar MZ throughout the match.
