Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vindoo De Hond took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Vindoo De Hond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 6 played minutes Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Christian Matos. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Jânio Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vindoo De Hond in the 7th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Linhares. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldinho Paes got free with Jânio Esteves in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Varela came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Christian Matos. But to his dismay, Christian Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Batalhão do Peçanha's Vindoo De Hond slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jânio Esteves. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. With a little luck, Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Jânio Esteves got control of the ball when Osvaldinho Paes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match, Vindoo De Hond got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jânio Esteves was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 25th minute Batalhão do Peçanha were awarded a corner. Isaltino Mesquita went to the cornerflag to take it. Isaltino Mesquita made a great header on Batalhão do Peçanha's corner, it was just that Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Jânio Esteves managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Vindoo De Hond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jânio Esteves was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Batalhão do Peçanha were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Isaltino Mesquita took the corner. Batalhão do Peçanha's Isaltino Mesquita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jânio Esteves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 30 minutes into the match, Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's goalkeeper Jânio Esteves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldinho Paes. Batalhão do Peçanha's Armando Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Matos in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Osvaldinho Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalhão do Peçanha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldinho Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Waldemar Linhares fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's protests and gave Waldemar Linhares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Linhares to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Vindoo De Hond took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Jânio Esteves to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinho Cearense during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Claudinho Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jânio Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Christian Matos's late challenge caught a Batalhão do Peçanha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Matos helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Christian Matos. The audience was convinced that Vindoo De Hond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jânio Esteves was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Flavinho Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Maia to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Batalhão do Peçanha's Vindoo De Hond made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jânio Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benjamin Maia might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Maia ran back to his position shaking his head. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Jânio Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vindoo De Hond in the 62nd minute of play. If Vindoo De Hond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Luís Gustavo Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joga Ponta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Esteves having to interfere. Jânio Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vindoo De Hond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Paes in the 86th minute of play forced Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's goalkeeper Jânio Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldinho Paes scored 7-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jânio Esteves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vindoo De Hond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Esteves having to interfere. There was no doubt that Batalhão do Peçanha were the better team. Batalhão do Peçanha's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
