Hartmann Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamutes EC the free kick. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Nilson Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Koehler in the 52nd minute of the match. Nilson Paranaense had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Aloísio Lopez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 57 played minutes Mamutes EC got a freekick which was hit by Jailson dos Santos. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rui Lago during the 67th minute. Nilson Paranaense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Many of Mamutes EC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mamutes EC may have spent more time on the ball, but Hartmann Futebol Clube were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
