Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulão Diniz started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Jabaquara SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Fenomeno to maneuver through the defense. Niyazi Derim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Efraim in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute of the match Sport Club Mavericks got a corner. Jabaquara SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arturo Filippini ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Efraim in the 7th minute of play forced Jabaquara SC's goalkeeper Niyazi Derim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jabaquara SC's Niyazi Derim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Efraim in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Honorio Efraim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Efraim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niyazi Derim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The long shot by Marcos Almeida in the 19th minute really tested Niyazi Derim's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jabaquara SC's Niyazi Derim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Efraim in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Lima in the 28th minute of play forced Jabaquara SC's goalkeeper Niyazi Derim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizão Lima took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niyazi Derim. Niyazi Derim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jabaquara SC's Niyazi Derim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Efraim in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Jabaquara SC's goalkeeper Niyazi Derim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorio Efraim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho Fenomeno in the 42nd minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Telmo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sport Club Mavericks getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marcos Almeida hit a great ball. After 45 minutes of play, Jabaquara SC's Paulão Diniz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo de Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luizão Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. Telmo de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Diniz in the 52nd minute of play. Niyazi Derim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Efraim's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Sport Club Mavericks's Sven Herling pulled a muscle in his back after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Sport Club Mavericks booed when Jabaquara SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho Fenomeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sport Club Mavericks's Luo Chuan was substituted for Ong Mathews. After 66 played minutes Jabaquara SC got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Fenomeno. 68 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Telmo de Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rok Roll. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulão Diniz got free with Telmo de Amorim in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Paulinho Fenomeno sped through Sport Club Mavericks's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Telmo de Amorim. Telmo de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Paulão Diniz sent off a good shot on target. Niyazi Derim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rok Roll kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Niyazi Derim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Jeremias Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
