Ramón Linhares was a little too slow when Elano de Sousa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-2. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Ramón Linhares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Maragassume AD - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Zé Augusto Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Fala Sério FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Papin to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Rafinha Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Elano de Sousa scored to the left of an out of position Ramón Linhares, making the score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Madureira in the 37th minute of play forced Fala Sério FC's goalkeeper João Pedro do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Zé Augusto Maia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Pedro do Nascimento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. A collision led to Maragassume AD - CIMZ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Elder Palmeira hit a great ball. Ramón Linhares acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dé Linares. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Trigo to make the kick off. João Pedro do Nascimento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chico Madureira went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 54th minute, Dé Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match, Rodriguinho Vale sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but João Pedro do Nascimento showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Ramón Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elano de Sousa in the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Fala Sério FC got a freekick which was hit by William Papin. After 63 played minutes Fernando Trigo rounded Fala Sério FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-5. 67 minutes into the match, Maragassume AD - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Lopez came free, but Ramón Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramón Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Lopez in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Fala Sério FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Trigo came free, but João Pedro do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute José Pedro Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Ramón Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Paraense in the 79th minute of play. José Pedro Paraense took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramón Linhares. Ramón Linhares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-6. João Pedro do Nascimento came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Chico Madureira. But to his dismay, Chico Madureira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-8. Rafinha Abraão's late challenge caught a Maragassume AD - CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafinha Abraão helped the player get up and apologised. Rafinha Abraão hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
