An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliverios Marcilla in the 35th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Basílio Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of INTER FC booed when Dogelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lewis van Dijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardinho Batista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manúel Bento. Dogelo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Oliverios Marcilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute, Ricardinho Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Kristóf Földes made the kick off in the second half. Oliverios Marcillas short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Basílio Maranhense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Basílio Maranhense managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Dogelo's Oliverios Marcilla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ahmet Danış Garipbaş took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basílio Maranhense. Basílio Maranhense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 63rd minute, Dogelo's Kristóf Földes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Basílio Maranhense. Basílio Maranhense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Basílio Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristóf Földes in the 71st minute of play. Manúel Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Oliverios Marcilla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basílio Maranhense, 0-10. Basílio Maranhense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliverios Marcilla went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Dogelo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than INTER FC.
