Oliverios Marcilla scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basílio Maranhense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basílio Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliverios Marcilla in the 8th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Basílio Maranhense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 9th minute, Dogelo's Oliverios Marcilla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Ulysses Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Manúel Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliverios Marcilla took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basílio Maranhense. Basílio Maranhense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The supporters of Dogelo booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Sebastián Verón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dogelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastián Verón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basílio Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliverios Marcilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Justino Dabi hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Manúel Bento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Cruz in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, INTER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Oliverios Marcilla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basílio Maranhense came out and tried to block the shot, but Oliverios Marcilla slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hortêncio Linhares made a kick off. Basílio Maranhense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliverios Marcilla's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Dogelo's attentive Lico Catarinense managed to snatch the ball when Albertinho Meireles made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th minute Oliverios Marcilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the INTER FC defense, Kristóf Földes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basílio Maranhense. The INTER FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basílio Maranhense should have stopped the shot. When Oliverios Marcilla came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Dogelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliverios Marcilla couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Danış Garipbaş came free, but Basílio Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dogelo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastián Verón in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Ahmet Danış Garipbaş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basílio Maranhense. INTER FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Danış Garipbaş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After some careless play in the INTER FC defense, Oliverios Marcilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basílio Maranhense. The INTER FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basílio Maranhense should have stopped the shot. Dogelo's attentive Lico Catarinense managed to snatch the ball when Albertinho Meireles made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Oliverios Marcilla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basílio Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. When Albertinho Meireles fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTER FC's protests and gave Albertinho Meireles a yellow card for diving instead. Albertinho Meireles hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Oliverios Marcilla made a precise shot to the right of Basílio Maranhense. INTER FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Basílio Maranhense came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Dogelo's Oliverios Marcilla. But to his dismay, Oliverios Marcilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Kristóf Földes scored 13-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basílio Maranhense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute Kristóf Földes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Dogelo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
