Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Júnior Veloso kicked off to start the match. Zé de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Senna in the 3rd minute. With a little luck, Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna got control of the ball when Ademir Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Matungo Gaúcho defense, Fausto Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé de Senna. The Matungo Gaúcho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé de Senna should have stopped the shot. Fausto Senna's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zé de Senna firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Danone CC's Fausto Senna got a free kick in the 10th minute. Zé de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Senna in the 15th minute. Júnior Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Zé de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carlos Alberto Passos came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Danone CC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Alberto Passos couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Zé de Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademir Aparecido. Matungo Gaúcho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Fausto Senna scored to the left of an out of position Zé de Senna, making the score, 2-0. With a little luck, Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna got control of the ball when Fausto Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Edmílson Nóbrega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matungo Gaúcho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Danone CC the free kick. After 23 played minutes Matungo Gaúcho got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Nóbrega. With a little luck, Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna got control of the ball when Júlio Pena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abelardo de Lara hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Aparecido in the 28th minute of play forced Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Zé de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo de Lara's late challenge caught a Danone CC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo de Lara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Abelardo de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Vladimir de Almeida reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zé de Senna. The goal made the score 3-0. Edmílson Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Zé de Senna came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Júlio Pena. But to his dismay, Júlio Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 39 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Veloso came free, but Zé de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes of play Matungo Gaúcho's Abelardo de Lara was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Zé de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szczepan Mosiniak in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th play minute Júlio Pena came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zé de Senna. 5-0. Júlio Penas short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Zé de Senna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinaldo Marinho was the one to do the kick off. Fausto Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé de Senna having to make a save. Zé de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Aparecido in the 53rd minute of the match. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szczepan Mosiniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th match minute, Matungo Gaúcho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Ademir Aparecido scored 6-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Fausto Senna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé de Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When Júlio Pena came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Danone CC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Pena couldn't finish the play. Zé de Senna came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Carlos Alberto Passos. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Passos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 67th minute, Júnior Veloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Danone CC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Zé de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szczepan Mosiniak in the 77th minute of the match. Matungo Gaúcho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Szczepan Mosiniak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. In the 85th minute, Dário da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Fausto Senna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé de Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. In the 89th minute Fausto Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szczepan Mosiniak scored 13-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Fausto Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Danone CC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. Danone CC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
