The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Tenha Dó Dó Dó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Koko Merdan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Beto Vidal didn't even have to move. In the 7th minute Jonas Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukasz Gmoch charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lukasz Gmoch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lukasz Gmoch kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Vivaldo Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MDS Soccer Club's Artur Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save MDS Soccer Club from getting a goal against them. Beto Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Gmoch in the 17th minute of play. Artur Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo de Castro in the 19th minute of play. Beto Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleiton Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Duarte Pinheiro hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Lukasz Gmoch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beto Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Beto Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Gmoch in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Lukasz Gmoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MDS Soccer Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Koko Merdan in the 36th minute. MDS Soccer Club's Koko Merdan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Beto Vidal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Beto Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erivaldo Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Cleiton Paraíba made a precise shot to the right of Beto Vidal. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Beto Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Gmoch in the 46th minute of play. A collision led to Tenha Dó Dó Dó getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Duarte Pinheiro hit a great ball. Erivaldo Severo struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Beto Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MDS Soccer Club. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lukasz Gmoch made a kick off. Beto Vidal made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ernani de Toledo sent off a good shot on target. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Beto Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Gmoch in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of MDS Soccer Club booed when Tenha Dó Dó Dó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Koko Merdan from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Beto Vidal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Beto Vidal made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Erivaldo Severo sent off a good shot on target. Milosz Solecki kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Beto Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Beto Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukasz Gmoch in the 76th minute of the match. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Beto Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Tenha Dó Dó Dó from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Erivaldo Severo could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Beto Vidal however easily saved by the left post. Beto Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Paraíba in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goal looked a bit too open when Lukasz Gmoch came free, but Beto Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Lukasz Gmoch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beto Vidal. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lukasz Gmoch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 1-4 came in the 97th minute when Ramón Brodel all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Beto Vidal. MDS Soccer Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
