In the 3rdth minute of the game Fred Valencia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MDS Soccer Club's Artur Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Valencia came free, but Artur Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Head Son, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Cleiton Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisson Goycochea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Wincek to maneuver through the defense. Gerson Rezende's late challenge caught a MDS Soccer Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerson Rezende helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MDS Soccer Club booed when INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alisson Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Paraíba in the 16th minute of play. Artur Romero came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Lucas Head Son. But to his dismay, Lucas Head Son quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 21st match minute, INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Gamarra to maneuver through the defense. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Alisson Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Gmoch in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Fred Valencia made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. MDS Soccer Club's Artur Romero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Cleiton Paraíba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alisson Goycochea was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After having played for 32 minutes, Fred Valencia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Valencia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alisson Goycochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleiton Paraíba in the 36th minute of the match. Artur Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Valencia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MDS Soccer Club's Artur Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Valencia in the 42nd minute of play. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nilmar de Souza in the 43rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Nilmar de Souza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Artur Romero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Valencia in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Romero saved MDS Soccer Club from getting behind. In the 47th minute Fred Valencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

51 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Valencia came free, but Artur Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Valencia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Artur Romero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Leonel Xavier got a free kick in the 55th minute. Alisson Goycochea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukasz Gmoch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute of the match INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA got a corner. MDS Soccer Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nilmar de Souza ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Fred Valencia to score against Artur Romero in MDS Soccer Club's goal. 0-4 after 58 minutes. In the 60th minute, INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Lucas Head Son ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Artur Romero. Artur Romero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 63rd minute, Koko Merdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper Artur Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Valencia. In the 67th minute of the match, Lucas Head Son got a very nice opportunity to score, but Artur Romero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Artur Romero made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Fred Valencia sent off a good shot on target. Artur Romero was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Fred Valencia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fred Valencia really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. With his leg Artur Romero managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Fred Valencia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Artur Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Valencia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fred Valencia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Artur Romero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, MDS Soccer Club's Artur Romero got control of the ball when Fred Valencia tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Lucas Head Son had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Fred Valencia took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Artur Romero to make any attempt to save it. After 94 minutes, Fred Valencia made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. MDS Soccer Club's Artur Romero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
