Silas Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Arlindo Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kléberson Soeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bandeca FC's Kléberson Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Martins in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Sergio Martins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléberson Soeiro. Bandeca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergio Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 25 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Mota. After a rather tough play, Landulfos FC's Arnaldo Nóbrega got a free kick in the 26th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Vargas came free, but Kléberson Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Arlindo Vargas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Landulfos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 37th minute Arlindo Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kléberson Soeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Martins went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Kléberson Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bandeca FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Caio de Salles hit a great ball. Vito Montenegro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arlindo Vargas to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arlindo Vargas in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kléberson Soeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Sergio Martins took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Kléberson Soeiro to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Bandeca FC's Tiago Ortiz got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 60 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Ortiz. Bandeca FC's Kléberson Soeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Bandeca FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Martins got free with Kléberson Soeiro in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Luiz Leme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kléberson Soeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Kléberson Soeiro stood somewhat misplaced when Sergio Martins came free in front of goal and shot 0-13 to the left of him in the 91 minute. 96 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Vargas came free, but Kléberson Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Landulfos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Landulfos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
