After 11 minutes, Reynaldo Tepedino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morro Grande E.C and the Pégasus F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Willian Loyola came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Pégasus F. C.'s Wit Winnicki. But to his dismay, Wit Winnicki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 15 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Trevisan. In the 22nd minute Wit Winnicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisinho Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dráusio Pitta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisinho Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. Raúl Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Pitta having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Samuca Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Cristian Ronaldo made a precise shot to the right of Willian Loyola. Morro Grande E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Ernani Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Wit Winnicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pégasus F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Willian Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Winnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Morro Grande E.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pégasus F. C. were winning 0-6.

In the 59th minute, Pégasus F. C.'s Samuca Tepedino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Willian Loyola. Willian Loyola yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Willian Loyola made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Cristian Ronaldo sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the match, Wit Winnicki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Willian Loyola, 0-10. The supporters of Pégasus F. C. booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Samuca Tepedino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pégasus F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. Willian Loyola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuca Tepedino in the 81st minute. Willian Loyola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Ronaldo went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Samuca Tepedino took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Willian Loyola to make any attempt to save it. 91 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Freire cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-15. Willian Loyola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pégasus F. C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
