SRP-Laguna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moreto F.C. - Capivari the free kick. Léo Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Wanderson Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Moreto F.C. - Capivari from getting a goal against them. In the 20th match minute, Moreto F.C. - Capivari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano de Salles to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Damião in the 26th minute of play forced SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Faustão Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Moreto F.C. - Capivari booed when SRP-Laguna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustão Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Pitta in the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, SRP-Laguna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Neves to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sérgio Neves made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Ediberto Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walmyr Cavalcante's late challenge caught a Moreto F.C. - Capivari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walmyr Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Léo Bertassi with Edson Palmeira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Mathias Pitta came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Moreto F.C. - Capivari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Pitta couldn't finish the play. After 74 played minutes Moreto F.C. - Capivari got a freekick which was hit by Didi Dante. 80 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Teles came free, but Faustão Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes of play SRP-Laguna's Walmyr Cavalcante was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After some careless play in the SRP-Laguna defense, Arí Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustão Custódio. The SRP-Laguna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustão Custódio should have stopped the shot. Andrézinho de Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Faustão Custódio made a huge save. With a little luck, SRP-Laguna's Faustão Custódio got control of the ball when Andrézinho de Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. SRP-Laguna's Faustão Custódio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save SRP-Laguna from getting a goal against them. Evaristo Damião succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 95th playminute. When the match was over Moreto F.C. - Capivari could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SRP-Laguna throughout the match.
