Nilson Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Fernandez in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when He Xiao Ao came free, but Nilson Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, David Fernandez made a precise shot to the right of Nilson Dracena. SE Palmeiras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 65th minute, one of SE Palmeiras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SE Palmeiras. After 67 minutes SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena managed, with a little bit of luck, save David Fernandez's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 0-8 came in the 67th minute when David Fernandez all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Nilson Dracena. Borussia Dortmund MZB made a substitution. Liu Zhi replaced He Xiao Ao. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Ye Feng Feng was substituted for Olívio Andrade. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liu Zhi got free with Nilson Dracena in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
