In the 21st minute Valdir da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armandinho Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Pedrão Paraense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Armandinho Mattos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Armandinho Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Paraense in the 35th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Wakanda fv FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Queirós. Jaime Simão hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Vágner Abraão hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dedê Cerezo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Severino Santo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Divina Comédia FC the free kick. Váldson Lopes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Armandinho Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Paraense in the 58th minute of play. Armandinho Mattos made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Pedrão Paraense sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute Dedê Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armandinho Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Divina Comédia FC's Valdir da Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armandinho Mattos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdir da Silva during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Divina Comédia FC's Valdir da Silva got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 87th minute, Valdir da Silva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armandinho Mattos. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 93rd minute, Rodriguinho Valladares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wakanda fv FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Armandinho Mattos came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Divina Comédia FC's Valdir da Silva. But to his dismay, Valdir da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5.
