Armandinho Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Ibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Gwidon Cwojdak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armandinho Mattos. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gwidon Cwojdak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12th minute, 余永川 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gerardo Ibar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armandinho Mattos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Severino Santo got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, 余永川 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armandinho Mattos. After having played for 30 minutes, Gwidon Cwojdak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwidon Cwojdak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 余永川 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Gwidon Cwojdak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armandinho Mattos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, 余永川 put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Armandinho Mattos. 余永川 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The Wakanda fv FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armandinho Mattos should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gwidon Cwojdak was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's 余永川 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armandinho Mattos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. 54 minutes into the game, 余永川 lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Armandinho Mattos. Armandinho Mattos came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's 余永川. But to his dismay, 余永川 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. 余永川 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Armandinho Mattos made a huge save. 70 minutes into the game, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's 余永川 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armandinho Mattos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. Gwidon Cwojdak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76thth minute of the game 余永川 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Armandinho Mattos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 余永川 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armandinho Mattos came out and tried to block the shot, but 余永川 slotted it home off the left post making it 0-14 in the 78th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as 余永川 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armandinho Mattos. That made the score 0-15 in the 82 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, 余永川 put it in 0-16 from a short distance just to the right of Armandinho Mattos. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Dino Soeiro put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Hélder Lara got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Armandinho Mattos. Douglas Botelho took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armandinho Mattos. Armandinho Mattos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-18.
