The crowd rose to their feet as Eriberto dos Santos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celsinho Vander. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. The supporters of Jenipapo SC booed when AFC - Curitiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celsinho Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Marquez in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes AFC - Curitiba got a freekick which was hit by Allan Furlan. Mateus Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Celsinho Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Allan Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Eriberto dos Santos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celsinho Vander. The goal made the score 2-0. With his leg Celsinho Vander managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Jenipapo SC's Cristiano Marquez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Celsinho Vander successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Celsinho Vander made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Cristiano Marquez sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Marquez to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Luan Vale. A collision led to AFC - Curitiba getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Luizão Ferraz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Cristiano Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jenipapo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celsinho Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celsinho Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Magalhães in the 71st minute of the match. Celsinho Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to AFC - Curitiba getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Braga hit a great ball. After 89 played minutes AFC - Curitiba got a freekick which was hit by Allan Furlan. Celsinho Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Allan Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
