Celsinho Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Cruz in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celsinho Vander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jano Proença's late challenge caught a Jovens Democratas MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jano Proença helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, AFC - Curitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano Proença to maneuver through the defense. Jovens Democratas MZC were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after AFC - Curitiba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dobromir Zagrodny took the corner. After 88 minutes, Giuseppe Negri made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. AFC - Curitiba's Celsinho Vander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lúcio Cruz in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celsinho Vander saved AFC - Curitiba from getting behind.
