Durval de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Donato Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Li Sang in the 45th minute of the match. When Dobromir Zagrodny fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jovens Democratas MZC's protests and gave Dobromir Zagrodny a yellow card for diving instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xu Li Sang made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Urbano. Dobromir Zagrodny went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Dobromir Zagrodny almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jenipapo SC's Donato Nascimento did a great save. After 62 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Urbano. Donato Nascimento stood somewhat misplaced when Xu Li Sang came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 63 minute. Donato Nascimento came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Jovens Democratas MZC's Durval de Queirós. But to his dismay, Durval de Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Jozef Ilve replaced Mexhit Koçi. Thanks to some nice moves Marco van Basten could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Donato Nascimento however easily saved by the left post. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Jovens Democratas MZC's Xu Li Sang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Percy Lopes hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Jovens Democratas MZC's Serginho Sabóia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Donato Nascimento. Donato Nascimento yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Donato Nascimento, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 89th minute of the match Jovens Democratas MZC got a corner. Jenipapo SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dobromir Zagrodny ran over to the corner to take the kick. Manoel Neuer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jovens Democratas MZC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
