In the 5th minute, Reko-Recko 03™'s Federico Valverde dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Robinho Falcão scored 2-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geraldo Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute of the match Alessandro Moraes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geraldo Queiroz skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Rockets getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Doriva Medeiros hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dudu Madureira in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Eduardo Donatello saved Reko-Recko 03™ from getting behind. The supporters of Reko-Recko 03™ booed when Rockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doriva Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robinho Falcão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geraldo Queiroz came out and tried to block the shot, but Robinho Falcão slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 21st minute. Reko-Recko 03™'s Giuseppe de Souza was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Reko-Recko 03™'s Giuseppe de Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geraldo Queiroz. That made the score 5-0 after 31 minutes of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rockets's goalkeeper Geraldo Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geraldo Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Falcão in the 39th minute of play. Geraldo Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Valverde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes Reko-Recko 03™ got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Firmino. Rockets's Joélson Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fabinho Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robinho Falcão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Valério Peres in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Reko-Recko 03™'s Selman Ruzi. Geraldo Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geraldo Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selman Ruzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Wiliam Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reko-Recko 03™'s protests and gave Wiliam Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Reko-Recko 03™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. If Dudu Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geraldo Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Falcão in the 59th minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Selman Ruzi made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geraldo Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Robinho Falcão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geraldo Queiroz. Rockets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robinho Falcão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 67th match minute, Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Eduardo Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Camilo Fresnedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naldo Garcia hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robinho Falcão in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geraldo Queiroz saved Rockets from getting behind. Alessandro Moraes hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Robinho Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Fabinho Mattos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinho Falcão in the 81st minute of play forced Rockets's goalkeeper Geraldo Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reko-Recko 03™'s Federico Valverde got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Federico Valverde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reko-Recko 03™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Valverde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Giuseppe de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geraldo Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Federico Valverde struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Geraldo Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reko-Recko 03™. Reko-Recko 03™'s Selman Ruzi got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rockets's Luiz Eduardo Pimenta got a free kick in the 95th minute.
