With an all-out effort, Coice de Mula's Willian de Alcântara threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Timeteo Mula, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 26 minutes into the game, THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Germano Romero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thibault Mamardashvili made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Thibault Mamardashvili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ismael de Lara's late challenge caught a Coice de Mula's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael de Lara helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ismael de Lara hit a great ball. In the 37th match minute, THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliézer Paraense to maneuver through the defense. Willian de Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timeteo Mula in the 39th minute. Richard Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Coice de Mula's Paulão Quintal got a free kick in the 72nd minute.
