Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro de Mendonça started the match with the kick off. Hudson Toscano might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toninho Trancoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hudson Toscano ran back to his position shaking his head. Luiz Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute, one of SC Bertioga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Bertioga. If Hudson Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Nilson Duarte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toninho Trancoso. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Hudson Toscano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Toninho Trancoso. Hudson Toscano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Marquez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toninho Trancoso. That made the score 4-0 in the 31 minute of play. SC Bertioga's Toninho Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Marquez in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Senon Abravanel hit a great ball. Toninho Trancoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Tande in the 39th minute. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Adriano Tande took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Toninho Trancoso to make any attempt to save it. In the 42ndth minute of the game Luiz Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Bertioga's Toninho Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the SC Bertioga defense, Luiz Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toninho Trancoso. The SC Bertioga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toninho Trancoso should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luiz Marquez made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SC Bertioga's Donato Coutinho got a free kick in the 55th minute. The supporters of Independente FC booed when SC Bertioga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Hudson Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hudson Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toninho Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Marquez in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toninho Trancoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Toninho Trancoso came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Independente FC's Luiz Marquez. But to his dismay, Luiz Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 67 minutes into the match, SC Bertioga's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Tande came free, but Toninho Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Marquez in the 68th minute of play forced SC Bertioga's goalkeeper Toninho Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Hudson Toscano hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Donato Oliveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nando Sena skillfully saved the ball. Toninho Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Tande in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, SC Bertioga's goal looked a bit too open when Nilson Duarte came free, but Toninho Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toninho Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Independente FC's Luiz Marquez in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Bertioga's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute, Senon Abravanel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toninho Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Luiz Marquez in the 88th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 90th minute, Nilson Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriano Tande scored 9-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toninho Trancoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee gave Independente FC a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luiz Marquez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Bertioga's Toninho Trancoso. 10-0. Independente FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
