When Hílton Prata fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio Papão de WC's protests and gave Hílton Prata a yellow card for diving instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Ové made a kick off. 58 minutes into the game, CorinGunners F.C.'s Jan Ové nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moisés da Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Moisés da Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Ové went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo-Henrique Pato in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moisés da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moisés da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Ové in the 79th minute of the match. Augusto Weidt hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Hudson Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Guilherme Mineiro in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CorinGunners F.C.'s Ture Kilman. A collision led to Grêmio Papão de WC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Horácio Prestes hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Jan Ové shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo-Henrique Pato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CorinGunners F.C. fully deserved thier win.
