Grêmio Papão de WC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beppe Pozzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dráuzio Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Pozzo having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Diogo Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to CorinGunners F.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Guto Matos hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Alberto Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Diogo Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jan Ové fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CorinGunners F.C.'s protests and gave Jan Ové a yellow card for diving instead. 23 minutes into the game, Jan Ové cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Moisés da Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute Vaino Bar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grêmio Papão de WC made a substitution. Dadá Amorim replaced Alberto Reis. Paulo-Henrique Pato kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Raí Paraibano made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hílton Prata. Beppe Pozzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dadá Amorim in the 40th minute. Moisés da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Ové in the 43rd minute of the match. Jan Ové scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moisés da Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dadá Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clóvis Alves made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Augusto Weidt. In the 57th minute, Dadá Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grêmio Papão de WC's Raí Paraibano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bata Liachames in the 59 minute of the game. The supporters of CorinGunners F.C. booed when Grêmio Papão de WC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Hudson Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grêmio Papão de WC's attack was well implemented in the 65th minute, but when Dadá Amorim was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Grêmio Papão de WC's Moisés da Silveira got control of the ball when Jan Ové tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Naldo Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Vitinho de Sena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moisés da Silveira. Grêmio Papão de WC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitinho de Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 83rdth minute of the game Jan Ové who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Papão de WC's Moisés da Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, CorinGunners F.C.'s Vitinho de Sena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Jan Ové sped through Grêmio Papão de WC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Moisés da Silveira. CorinGunners F.C.'s Jan Ové got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CorinGunners F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
