Júlio Souza hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Emerson Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Š¢σяpiσиŠ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Flávio Gomes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Flávio Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Š¢σяpiσиŠ's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Gomes came free, but Iuri Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Flávio Gomes put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Iuri Linares. Flávio Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cestarolli FC's Laércio de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romarinho Fenomeno in the 30th minute of play. Iuri Linares made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Emerson Lira sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Baiano in the 44th minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Laércio de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Š¢σяpiσиŠ getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Clemente Cruz hit a great ball. Flávio Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emerson Lira charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emerson Lira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Lira to maneuver through the defense. If Romarinho Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Proença took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iuri Linares. Iuri Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 71st minute, Emerson Lira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iuri Linares was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Marcelo Lopez hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Iuri Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Š¢σяpiσиŠ defense, Emerson Lira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iuri Linares. The Š¢σяpiσиŠ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iuri Linares should have stopped the shot. After 93 minutes, Cássio Cestarolli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cestarolli FC and the Š¢σяpiσиŠ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Š¢σяpiσиŠ booed when Cestarolli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Cestarolli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iuri Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Gomes in the 96th minute of play.
