After 10 played minutes Cestarolli FC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Cestarolli. Laércio de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. D'Avis, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of São Paulo F.C. booed when Cestarolli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Emerson Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, São Paulo F.C.'s Pedro Paulo de Azevedo got control of the ball when Emerson Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flávio Gomes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the game Leonardo Lago made a throw-in which Rubinho Toscano played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito de Senna in the 56th minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Laércio de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. São Paulo F.C.'s Pedro Paulo de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neno Cestarolli in the 65th minute of play. Laércio de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Crispín in the 67th minute of the match. The corner ended in Arnaldo Da Silva Junior almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cestarolli FC's Laércio de Almeida did a great save. 77 minutes into the match, Emerson Lira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Paulo de Azevedo. São Paulo F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emerson Lira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Flávio Gomes struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Pedro Paulo de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cestarolli FC. Pedro Paulo de Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 95 played minutes Cestarolli FC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Cestarolli. Cestarolli FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
