Flávio Gomes's late challenge caught a Š¢σяpiσиŠ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flávio Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Cestarolli FC got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Gomes. Laércio de Almeida came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Romarinho Fenomeno. But to his dismay, Romarinho Fenomeno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Gomes to maneuver through the defense. When Cestarolli FC's Emerson Lira in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Š¢σяpiσиŠ's goalie prevented a goal. 32 minutes into the game, Marcelo Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Š¢σяpiσиŠ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cestarolli FC the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, Š¢σяpiσиŠ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Emerson Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Iuri Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Lira in the 36th minute of play. Iuri Linares came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Cestarolli FC's Emerson Lira. But to his dismay, Emerson Lira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Neno Cestarolli was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Willian Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Laércio de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flávio Gomes made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Š¢σяpiσиŠ's zone, Flávio Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iuri Linares came out of the goal and Flávio Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. William Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Linares having to interfere. Iuri Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emerson Lira in the 60th minute. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Emerson Lira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tião Nogueira made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Clemente Cruz. After 79 minutes, Romarinho Fenomeno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Š¢σяpiσиŠ and the Cestarolli FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iuri Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Gomes in the 80th minute of play. Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Marcelo Lopez got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Marcelo Lopez off the ground. After a rather tough play, Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Marcelo Lopez got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Teodoro Montenegro hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's Flávio Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iuri Linares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emerson Lira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Iuri Linares made a huge save.
