Natanael Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Gol scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natanael Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustavo Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Natanael Sena made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Gustavo Gol sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, Tribos's Gustavo Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natanael Sena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustavo Gol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natanael Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Luiz Gustavo Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, Tribos's Gustavo Gol made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natanael Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Tribos's Gustavo Gol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Natanael Sena. That made the score 3-0 after 31 minutes of play. The throw-in from Kaan Kayaer in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Monumento Sports's Bunda Brilhante. With a little luck, Monumento Sports's Natanael Sena got control of the ball when Gustavo Gol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gökhun Ereken hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toninho Arruda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Gustavo Gol sped through Monumento Sports's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Natanael Sena. In the 56th minute, Gustavo Gol made a precise shot to the right of Natanael Sena. Monumento Sports's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Natanael Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Gol in the 61st minute of play. Tribos's Zé Paulo da Fonseca was substituted for Marcel Urbano. The supporters of Monumento Sports booed when Tribos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökhun Ereken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gökhun Ereken kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Gustavo Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Tribos's Gustavo Gol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natanael Sena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Natanael Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Gol's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Tribos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Tribos's Gustavo Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natanael Sena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Monumento Sports's Natanael Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Gol in the 79th minute of play. Tribos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedrinho Figueiredo in the 82nd minute. The corner led Tribos's Pedrinho Figueiredo to fire away a dangerous shot which Natanael Sena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Gol in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natanael Sena saved Monumento Sports from getting behind. In the 88th minute Tribos were awarded a corner. Pedrinho Figueiredo went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Gol in the 90th minute of play forced Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Natanael Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tribos's zone, Joel Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin van der Saar came out of the goal and Joel Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tribos fully deserved thier win.
