Allan de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Corrêa in the 24th minute of play. Ismael Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Ismael Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inter de Melão's Ciro Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Allan de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Ciro Amorim struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Falcão Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Melão. Maurinho Vergílio hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes, Vito Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TIMETER EC -DMZ- and the Inter de Melão players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored Inter de Melão's protests and gave Jardel Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Inter de Melão got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Cunha. Gustavo Corrêa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Allan de Almeida made a huge save. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Falcão Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Amorim in the 94th minute of play. If Elói Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
