In the 38th match minute, TIMETER EC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Martins to maneuver through the defense. Cido Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wanderson Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wanderson Baptista to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Dráuzio Proença got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 53 minutes, Gustavo Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th match minute, TIMETER EC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Martins to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the game, Cido Gerber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Falcão Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cido Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Monteiro having to interfere. Wanderson Baptista struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Falcão Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Nova FC. Falcão Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Sarmento in the 87th minute of play.
