Falcão Monteiro's late challenge caught a Inter de Melão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Falcão Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. The TIMETER EC -DMZ- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Inter de Melão were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elói Borges made a kick off. With a little luck, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Vítor de Lima got control of the ball when Maurinho Vergílio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Inter de Melão supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Inter de Melão would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
