Yuri Djorkaeff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Dante having to make a save. A collision led to Clube Audax Metropolitano getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Yuri Djorkaeff hit a great ball. Alix Vance received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Erik Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alix Vance in the 15th minute of the match. A very nice done corner allowed Hugo Calderona to score against Erik Dante in The Best Ones's goal. 0-2 after 17 minutes. Brock Weller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Erik Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Calderona, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Sílvio Luiz Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in The Best Ones's zone, Alix Vance stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Dante came out of the goal and Alix Vance tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antônio da Cunha hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Alix Vance had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Dante. The Best Ones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alix Vance was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 37th minute Yuri Djorkaeff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, The Best Ones's goal looked a bit too open when Alix Vance came free, but Erik Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Calderona, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Hugo Calderona notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of The Best Ones's Erik Dante. Erik Dante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Hugo Calderona, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 46 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Erik Dante was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After the first half Clube Audax Metropolitano were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Erik Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alix Vance in the 51st minute of the match. If Yuri Djorkaeff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Calderona who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Erik Dante when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Best Ones's Erik Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alix Vance in the 67th minute of play. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Yuri Djorkaeff got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alix Vance got free with Erik Dante in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 minutes of play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Alix Vance made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Dante was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Rangel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Alix Vance might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Dante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alix Vance ran back to his position shaking his head. Matheus Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The Best Ones's Erik Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alix Vance in the 96th minute of play. The The Best Ones fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Clube Audax Metropolitano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
