After taking down the ball on Clube Audax Metropolitano's corner Vítor Hendrix fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gino Hoffmann quite easily take care of the ball. Figueira SC FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Eliézer da Cunha scored to the left of an out of position Gino Hoffmann, making the score, 0-2. In the 91st minute Hugo Calderona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Pedro Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Dias in the 95th minute of play. After 97 played minutes, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Marcelo Medeiros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Rangel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Figueira SC FSCMZ reached it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Clube Audax Metropolitano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
