After some careless play in the Grêmio FBPA defense, Valdomiro Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Varela. The Grêmio FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Varela should have stopped the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldo Ramos to make the kick off. After 82 played minutes Várzea F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Mandrak. If Alessandro Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdomiro Duarte hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Dudu Negri charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dudu Negri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dudu Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Ramiro Rosado scored 10-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Varela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Várzea F.C. had played much better football throughout.
