Gláuber Nascimento didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Estrela Solitária's Túlio Maravilha shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Estrela Solitária's supporters rose to their feet, but Túlio Maravilha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gláuber Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Campidelis in the 78th minute of play forced Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Anselmi Saksinen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmi Saksinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Brazil Academy were awarded a corner. Valdo de Almeida went to the cornerflag to take it. Brazil Academy's Valdo de Almeida was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anselmi Saksinen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marco van Basten was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Estrela Solitária eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
