Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Birmingham Railers FC's Diego Forlan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Jeremias Lima fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Sacode Football CIMZ's protests and gave Jeremias Lima a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, Club Sacode Football CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Lima to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Birmingham Railers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Moreira came free, but Rafael Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Aldair Code shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Monteiro came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Aldair Code. But to his dismay, Aldair Code quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 27th match minute, Club Sacode Football CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldair Code to maneuver through the defense. When Vítor Ferraz fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Birmingham Railers FC's protests and gave Vítor Ferraz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Birmingham Railers FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Vítor Ferraz hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Birmingham Railers FC defense, David Berger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Monteiro. The Birmingham Railers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Monteiro should have stopped the shot. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Jeremias Lima got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. The referee ordered Jeremias Lima off the ground. A collision led to Club Sacode Football CIMZ getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jeremias Lima hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Jorge Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Décio Sarmento in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Marcelo Montenegro got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Birmingham Railers FC's Luiz Paulo Arce dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldair Code to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Décio Sarmento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rafael Monteiro. Décio Sarmento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Birmingham Railers FC's Rafael Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Moreira in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Birmingham Railers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Forlan to maneuver through the defense. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Diogo Alcântara was substituted for Marcelo Montenegro. Diego Forlan hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Birmingham Railers FC's zone, Jorge Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Monteiro came out of the goal and Jorge Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caio Valladares got in the 70th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Vito Cardozo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Vito Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Forlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 74 played minutes Birmingham Railers FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Arce. In the 75th minute of the match Téo Rodrigues sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Monteiro skillfully saved the ball. Nuno Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Aldair Code could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Rafael Monteiro made a huge save. Cléber Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cléber Abraão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute of the match Téo Rodrigues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Monteiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Caio Valladares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Monteiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorge Moreira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 85 minute of play. Rafael Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Décio Sarmento in the 89th minute. Rafael Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Moreira in the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Júnior Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Monteiro came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Aldair Code. But to his dismay, Aldair Code quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
